2019 Corporate Bowls Challenge
The Corporate Bowls Challenge was held at our club on Saturday 16th. March.
In all, there were 12 teams. The Corporate teams played 6 teams from our
club. The standard of play was fantastic. There were top sides from the club who were beaten conclusively.
The format was 2 rounds of 10 ends.
The enthusiasm from the Corporate bowlers ensured the day was a big hit.
The Margaret River Bowling Club committee has endorsed the event and it will become an annual part of our fixtures. The committee is looking at ideas to add to next year’s event. It is our intention to invite at least 10 teams for next year.
After the games a BBQ was held which allowed our members to meet and
discuss the day’s play.
Thank you to all the Corporate players who participated. Also, it was good
to see additional players as spectators. We hope the players enjoyed the day as much as we did.
